Sunday of Orthodoxy – First Sunday of Great Lent

Today’s Readings: Hebrews 11:24-26,32-12:2 John 1:43-51

We are excited to be hosting the annual Pan- Orthodoxy Vespers for Kentucky today at 5pm! It will be a joy to welcome Orthodox from across our state, including the new priest of the Greek parish in Louisville, Fr. Jon Boukis, who will be our guest homilist. Following the service there will be a reception in the parish that is coordinated by the St. Elizabeth Sisterhood. We hope everyone plans to be at this event.

Lenten Prayers: Canon of Repentance on Tuesday at 11am (lasts ~45 minutes).

Presanctified Liturgy on Wednesday beginning at 5:55pm followed by soup/salad meal and scripture readings.

Feast of the Annunciation of the Most-Holy Theotokos is Friday the 25th. Vigil for the Feast will be at 6:30pm on Thursday and Vesperal Liturgy on Friday at 11am (should last ~2hours).
