Today’s Readings: 1 Corinthians 3:19-17 Matthew 14:22-34

Moleben w/Canon to St. Irenaeus for local needs will be prayed on Tuesday, August 23 at 11am. Send any special requests to Fr. Justin’s email if you cannot be present. Service only lasts about 45 minutes.

Wednesday Vespers at 6:30pm. The Christian Education class follows at 7:20pm with Part IV of Orthodoxy & Society. Audio for first three parts are available on the website. Come and bring a friend!

Church property is in need of many hands to help get the weeds under control. Please come on Thursday, August 25 between the hours of 7am – 10:30am and help with the beautification of our grounds.

Pan Orthodox Service will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 6:30pm at St. Andrew Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lexington September 1 is the beginning of the Orthodox liturgical year and since 1989 has been observed as the Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation by the Orthodox Church. In 2015 Pope Francis called for Roman Catholics to join in Christian unity with the Orthodox Church in observing September 1 as a World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation.
