St. Thomas Sunday —  Today’s Readings Acts 5:12-20 John 20:19-31

Christ is Risen! Indeed He is Risen!

Glory to God we celebrated the Feast of Feasts with 219 souls presents (a new record)!

Akathist to St. Alexis Toth, confessor and defender of Orthodoxy in America, will be prayed on Tuesday, May 7 at 11am to commemorate his repose. Since this is the Tuesday of St. Thomas Week, we also celebrate “Radonitsa or Day of Rejoicing” when we remember those Orthodox Christians from all ages who have died in faith, and in the hope of resurrection.

Wednesday Evening we return to our weekly service at 6:30pm and Christian Education Class following. This week our service will be a Moleben w/Akathist to St. John the Theologian.  Fr. Justin will be teaching on “Orthodoxy & Contemporary Issues,” using the groundbreaking Year 2000 document Social Concept of the Russian Orthodox Church. We will be exploring issues of church, society, culture, and science for the next 5-6 weeks in May and June. All are invited! Bring friends!
